Had a great time in Lubbock this past weekend at the 30th annual National Cowboy Symposium & Celebration. Thanks to Monica Hightower, Mike Querner and all the other folks that work so hard to make this happen. It was a whole lot of fun seeing old friends, catching up and picking and singing. In addition to my own sets and playing with my friend RW Hampton, I also got to participate in an author’s panel with my buddy, Karen Casey Fitzjerrell and sit next to the amazing John Erickson, creator of Hank the Cowdog. Good weekend!
