I hope everyone had a good holiday season and were able to spend time with family and friends. I certainly did which is why I’ve been pretty much invisible for the past couple of weeks. There’s a time to step away from work and although that’s not always an easy thing for me to do, I was pretty doggone successful at it this time around. I did manage to do the final proofreading on my upcoming (4/17/19) novel, The Lights of Cimarron and will be sending that back to my publisher, Five Star by next week. I hadn’t read the manuscript in a long time and was pleased to find that I actually liked it (which SURE beats the alternative!). As I wait for this book to come out, I’m hard at work on my next one which will be the “fourth book in the Jared Delaney Trilogy”…that, if you don’t pick up on it, is me making fun of myself before any of my many wise-acre friends and fans can do it. AND a week from this Saturday, January 12th, The Cowboy Way Trio will be hosting a House Concert celebrating the release of our second album, Go West. I’ll list my email address below if you’re interested in attending and you can contact me for the details. I have some big goals for myself as an author for 2019 and The Cowboy Way has some big plans as well that hopefully will involve a tour overseas. I’ll keep you posted as things develop but in the meantime, welcome back everybody!
