We had our first “Living Room Sessions” experience last night at the home of my friend Joy Allen Burns and it went very well. A nice turnout and folks seemed to get into the more relaxed and intimate atmosphere. I sang a bunch of songs…my picks the first set, the audience’s requests the second set…and that was a lot of fun. People also seemed very interested in hearing some background info on various songs as well as some of my “tales from the road.” I’m going to be thinking about what seemed to work best and what I could do without so that the next one (mid-December with my buddy, Randy Huston) will be even better. Thanks again to everyone for coming out and supporting something a bit different and special thanks to Joy for hosting.
