Sometimes people ask me how I find time to do all the things I do…write books; write, perform and record music; make a documentary about Scottish Drovers coming to America. The short answer is… “Beats me.” I don’t think about it a lot, I just do it because I love it (and of course, I do need to make a living). The thing is, there is SO much to write about, so many stories to tell, so many interesting historical figures and events, so many amazing things happening in the West in the 21st Century, that the songs and books just seem to take on a life of their own and demand to be heard and read. My most recent book is The Lights of Cimarrón, the second book in my Tommy Stallings series which spun off my Moon/Jared Delaney series. The first book in the series is called The Big Empty; the two are stand-alone stories but you should probably should start with the first book and read them in order. They’re both available on my website and I would love for you to make them your own. My Jared Delaney/Moon Series is currently unavailable online because I’ve just signed a publishing contract with Speaking Volumes, LLC. I’ve very excited that they will be handling my books in the Trade Paperback and E-Book Markets. They’re busy designing new covers and getting things ready to be released over the next few months. I’ll keep you posted on the developments. In the meantime, check out The Big Empty and The Lights of Cimarrón, they’re good stories.
Jim, I have a signed copy of “Colorado Moon” that has some spilled coffee on it. It does not belong to me so I need to replace it. I can get a un-signed copy thru Amazon or perhaps I can buy one from you directly.
I live just up the road from Corralles in Rio Rancho and would be glad to come to you.
Whadayou say? Can we meet?

Hey Hank- Happy to sign one for you. I actually live in Rio Rancho as well, a block off Southern and Nicklaus. There’s a Circle K right on the corner of Southern and Nicklaus, would that work to meet at? My schedule is pretty flexible (these days!), I could do it mid-afternoon today or pretty much anytime tomorrow.
Oh, and my phone is 505-321-5444, also direct email is ajamojo@gmail.com
