Just wanted to let you know that I’ll be heading to Texas very soon. This week, on Thursday, October 18th, I’m performing solo at the Luna Rossa Winery in Deming, NM, hosted by my friend and wonderful DJ, Totsie Slover. Afterwards, I’ll be driving on to El Paso, TX where I’ll spend a short night before I continue on to Gonzales, Texas where I’ll meet up with my buddies, Allan Chapman and Rodeo Kate for a private event at a ranch near there. On Monday, October 22nd, I’ll be performing as part of a songwriter night at the Blue Light in Lubbock, TX. On to Houston where on Wednesday, October 24th, I’ll join my friend, Brian Kalinec, for some great music, fun and SOUP at the JP Hops House Hard Times Soup Kitchen evening. On Thursday, October 25th, Brian and I will head on over to our hometown of Beaumont, TX where we’ll once again grace the stage of the Logon Café. Hope to see a bunch of long-time (NOT old!) friends that night. On Friday, October 26th, I’ll be backing up my buddy, WMA Hall of Famer RW Hampton at the Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering in the stockyards of Fort Worth, TX. Saturday, October 27th, I’ll mosey on over to Decatur and join back up with Allan and Rodeo Kate for a late afternoon performance at the Greenwood Café and Store in lovely downtown Greenwood, TX. On Sunday, October 28th, Brian and I will saunter in the direction of Austin where we’ll perform at Charlie Stewart’s showcase at the New World Deli.
